Services – Patent Drawings

Patent drawings are critical to any patent application and to have your patent granted you need high quality patent drawings that will comply with patent office specifications. If you’re a private inventor or a patent attorney I can provide you with the drawings you require.

As a starting point you can send me your ideas as rough sketches, photos or even verbal input. With the aid of computer aided design (CAD) I will re-produce this input into high quality patent illustrations. These may include exploded views, cross section views and 3D views.

With having over 10 years experience in engineering design, this enables me not only to read and understand engineering drawings, but have the flexibly to develop the patent drawings from design concept stage and constructively develop the drawings into a feasible design - unlike a non technical graphic artist.

Drawing rates are calculated by the hour and a set price can be given for the work. I will not charge for minor modifications of no more than two iterations.

When the drawings are complete and meet necessary requirements for filing, they can be delivered by email as electronic files or by post as hard copy prints.
